Eligibility
Artist living within a 150 mile radius of Findlay and 18 years or older.
Cost
30.00 for members for up to 3 entries 40.00 for non-members for up to 2 entries 10.00 for students (18 or older) per entry for up to 2 entries non-refundable entry fee entry does not guarantee

Entry Requirements
Entry forms must be filled out completely and legibly. Identification tags must be attached to the back, upper right corner of 2D work and the bottom of 3D pieces. No price changes, substitutions, or withdrawals may occur during the show.
All artwork must be original in concept, not executed in a class, or copied from any printed source. Previous entries displayed in Findlay Art League shows will not be accepted.
All two dimensional work must be framed and properly wired for hanging. Wires and d-rings must be attached to the frame. Duck tape and saw tooth hangers will not be accepted.
Liability
All reasonable efforts will be made to handle artwork with care. All works submitted are subject to the following liability waiver: Findlay Art League and their agents will not be held responsible for loss or damage to artwork for the duration of the exhibit. Delivering an entry to the exhibition shall constitute agreement with all conditions in the prospectus.

Judge’s Statement
While I interact with artists and teach the history of art every working day in BGSU's School of Art, it never ceases to amaze me how uplifting and energizing it is to examine carefully numerous original works of art. Indeed, jurying this show of contemporary art in a wide variety of media once again impressed me with the power of art. Selecting the works to be included, and especially selecting the award winners, was all a very difficult process, but also a process filled with fascination and wonder around every corner of the Findlay Art League's excellent gallery space. In my opinion, the works selected and those pieces honored with prizes are all of very high quality: technically, aesthetically, and conceptually. My congratulations to all of the artists who got into the show, and especially to those who have won awards. I must also say that many of the excluded pieces were also fascinating and beautiful. Thus, I would also like to thank and commend all of the artists who submitted their works for consideration. Finally, as a longstanding resident of NW Ohio, I would also like to thank the Findlay Art League's forward-thinking founders, its current superb staff, and its numerous community supporters for creating, running, and maintaining such an outstanding organization. Congratulations and thanks again to all involved with the Findlay Art League!
